Cert was only done last Tuesday and is still being checked against planning law by the architect. There was no information coming either my solicitor or the vendors one who hired the architect. Eventually mine suggested i contact the ea and lo and behold its all now moving on a bit.
why do solicitors take so long over everything !!

ReplyDeleteDealing with probate the land registry and planning and banks are a right pain in the ass.
It's like the blind leading the blind nothing works the way it should. The system is outdated and down to snail pace where else would you get it only in Ireland. For the seller his work starts way ahead of the buyer at times he will wish he never started the process. For the buyer after they go sale agreed its a pain in the arse wait for the deal to be done and dusted problems caused by their own solicitors are mainly the cause. It all boils down to a bad system working on greed and not need. The government need to speed up the system by 95% so people can buy and sell when they want.
